    Redhead Express
    Show Times: Daily at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. There will be NO 11:00 a.m. show on March 6.
    Redhead Express is a vibrant, sweet harmony, 4-sister act originally from Alaska, now hailing from Nashville, Tennessee. The Redheads have spent the past six years touring with their family band across the country, performing over 1,400 shows at fairs, festivals and performing arts centers. Currently, they are recording their debut country album with renowned producer, Paul Worley. Their original songs were penned by the eldest sister, Kendra, and their fresh, unique sound will leave you breathless and wanting more.

    Branch and Dean hail from North Florida and are most at home making country music.  Dean Scallan and Steve Branch met and quickly realized that their mutual love of country music, performing, and song writing made them a powerful duo. Together they began writing and have recorded great hits like “The Dash,” “Your Ol’ Ladies Gone” and “The Forgetter.” Under the management of Erv Woolsey, best known as George Strait’s long time manager, Branch and Dean quickly have earned the respect of fans and the industry alike.

    Gospel Night with Pastor Calvin “Pee Wee” Callins

    Under the musical direction of Pastor “Pee Wee” Callins, as he is known in the community, come worship God along with other local churches through song and dance.

    Keeping the balance of school, weekly rehearsals and a rigorous performance schedule is no sweat for these young artists. NRG’s main focus is on learning life skills, teamwork and individual responsibility. The team consists of not only the performers, but equally important, the technical crew who produce the sound and run backstage operations; the business managers, who handle all publicity, contracts, merchandise, and the fan base; while the image personnel handle costume selection, hair and makeup. ALL of these functions are performed by the kids of NRG. Empowered to create and sustain excellence, NRG is versatile and always a crowd favorite.

    Formed in Tampa in 2012, the Cigar City Blues Band is a five piece ensemble that includes several national recording artists including Mike Davis and Les Sabler.  The group brings an exciting and unique blend of talent that creates a new interpretation of classic and original blues music. The band’s hard driving rhythm section combines with biting leads to move and inspire its audiences. Incorporating stylistic elements from Chicago, Mississippi, Memphis and Great Britain, while crossing over into Rock and Jazz influences provides a varied and original sound. This diversity is further evidenced by its instrumentation which includes lead guitar, harmonica, keyboards, twelve string slide guitar, five string bass and drums.

    Kari & Billy are a husband and wife, fiddle and guitar, country music duo with a chemistry and charisma comparable to Johnny and June. They bring a mix of crowd favorites and classics along with some brand new music and original songs that provide fun entertainment for all ages. Their love of music and performing produces a chemistry on stage that is contagious and unforgettable. They have opened for several national touring acts including Florida Georgia Line, Chris Young, Kelli Pickler, Montgomery Gentry, Pat Green, Rodney Atkins, Brett Eldredge, Scotty McCreery, Collin Raye, Diamond Rio and Kentucky Headhunters at some of the biggest fairs and festivals in the country.

  • Tampa Bay Times Variety Stage

    This singer-songwriter is no stranger to the business. Nearly his entire life has been dedicated to writing and performing music. Raised around television and recording studios, Nathan knew at an early age that music was his destiny. He has recently opened for Chris Young, Carrie Underwood, Clay Walker, Lonestar, Martina McBride and others, and his guitar-driven, cutting-edge, true-to-Country-roots sound is winning the attention of country fans the world over.

    Rosewood Creek
    Show Time:
    Thursday, March 3 at 6:00 p.m.
    Rosewood Creek is based in Saint Petersburg, Florida and plays Rocking Americana and Roots-Rock music. Much of the band’s high energy material is original, written by one of three songwriters in the band. Four of the five members sing, and three part harmonies are often heard.  In addition to the bass and drums of the rhythm section, you will hear acoustic and electric guitars, 12-string and lapsteel guitars, mandolin, fiddle, percussion and maybe even a banjo or ukulele.  Cover songs are by Lucinda Williams, Mumford and Sons, Old Crow Medicine Show, Mark Knopfler, Donna the Buffalo, Richard Thompson, and a host of others.

    American singer/songwriters Brett and Brigetta are a brother sister duo. The two are five years apart, but when it comes to music, there is no age difference. While Brett is the engine that drives their music as he produces and engineers their songs, the synergy of both of their ideas and talents are expressed in their sound and music. “It is easy and natural to work together. We see eye to eye on so many levels not only as siblings, songwriters, producers, but life in general. Our dream is to take what we hear in our heads, put it in a song, and share it with the world. We love music, we love people, and we love to perform.”

    Danny Moody Band

    Danny Moody Band is an Americana group out of Tampa mixing roots, country and southern rock n’ roll with a vintage vibe and a true Florida tone. With a rich history of playing in the greater Tampa Bay area Danny Moody Band brings a gathering of experienced players to the stage and a real community feel. With influences such as the Eagles, Allman Brothers, Tom Petty, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, Danny Moody Band hopes to revive the sweet harmonies, singing guitars and foot stomping grooves that have been laid down in the past back to the present day with a sure southern twang and rootsy backbone.

    Jake Castro Band

    Show Time: Monday, March 7 at 6:00 p.m.
    Jake Castro, 14, is a guitar phenom who loves to perform. His musical influences include Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Ventures, Chuck Berry and, from his Latin roots, Carlos Santana. Jake and his band, including Tim Conway and Greg Slusher, have performed at Club Vamp’d in Las Vegas, Tootsies in Nashville and other prestigious venues.

    Denise Moore and Then Some

    Show Time: Tuesday, March 8 at 6:00 p.m.
    Denise Moore is an engaging jazz and blues songstress with a wide vocal range and a phenomenally accurate ear. She is deeply influenced by Joni Mitchell, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Ray Charles, but it is likely you will also hear Denise eloquently perform songs by recent chart-toppers like Diana Krall and Norah Jones. Joining Denise is the amazing Billy Marcus, a world-known pianist voted Miami’s favorite in the mid 90’s, along with Alejandro Arenas, songwriter, arranger and bass player from 3 time Best of the Bay winning jazz group La Lucha.

    Bobby G. Summers

    Show Time: Wednesday, March 9 at 6:00 p.m.
    A co-founder of the 80’s hit group “The Deele”, along with Antonio “LA” Reid and later including Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Summers’ advanced writing style and powerful performances attributed to the bands prominent panache. Later, Bobby G, joined the “Bar-Kays”, creating the unforgettable anthem “The Slide.” Summers was asked to perform and direct the Enterprise Orchestra, a band otherwise headed by the Rev. On September 25, 2015 announced the release of his New Hit Single “OldsKool House With A NuSkool Bounce” off the upcoming CD “Sumthin Old Sumthin Nu” to be released soon.

    Skyler Clark

    Show Time: Thursday, March 10 at 6:00 p.m.
    Singer/songwriter Skyler Clark grew up in Thonotosassa, Florida. He started playing the guitar at age 7 and started playing acoustic shows in the local area around age 16. Skyler’s influences include George Strait, Jason Aldean, Hank Williams (Sr. & Jr.) and Luke Bryan. In December 2014, Skyler, Jeff Johnson (lead guitar/ vocals), Gary Rogers (drums) and Jerry Willi (bass) formed the Skyler Clark Band. Together they capture the party lifestyle of central Florida and blends modern country music with southern rock.

    Sara Rose Band

    Show Time: Friday, March 11 at 6:00 p.m.
    Tampa Bay-based female-fronted classic country quintet The Sara Rose Band specializes in pre-1980 country & Western music made famous by stars the likes of Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, and George Jones (plus the occasional stylistic curveball like, say, a Dusty Springfield tune.) They’ve established a solid reputation as a vibrant live act via well-received performances at venues the likes of Skipper’s Smokehouse, New World Brewery, State Theatre and the Florida Strawberry Festival.

    The Moriah Project

    Show Time: Saturday, March 12 at 6:00 p.m.
    The Moriah Project was formed out of a genuine desire to create a worship atmosphere that is engaging and that resonates with the joy of Christ. The founding members Mathew Leach, Caleb Higgins, and Collin Higgins have a combined 35 years of worship ministry experience. The idea for The Moriah Project came out of a common interest to create a worship experience in which people can find joy and freedom in worshiping. Experience this uplifting, energetic contemporary band who enjoys bringing their music to their audience and sharing their love for music and word.

    SouthWest Dairy Farmers Milking Show

    The Mobile Dairy Classroom is a traveling milking parlor, featuring a live cow and a dynamic presentation. The trained instructors at the milking show demonstrate how to milk a cow, describe how milk goes from the farm to the consumer and answer questions from the audience.
